Xiaokang Yang is currently a distinguished professor and deputy executive dean of Artificial Intelligence Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. He has published over 200 refereed papers, and has filed 60 patents. His current research interests include image processing and communication, computer vision, and machine learning. He received the 2018 Best Paper Award of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia. He is Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and Senior Associate Editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters. He is an IEEE Fellow.
